THE BEST, FOR NOW…

This was the first kiteboard festival of Turkey. No one expected such a flawless organisation (except us probably). Even some doubted the famous Gokova wind. And the wind arriving slightly late on the first day even instigated doubts. Thursday night was the registration night; participants started to get in the mood. Friday everything was on track. Some competed whereas the others were just enjoying themselves on Gokova Ruzgar Kiteboard beach. With the boat party that evening people switched from competition mood to holiday-fun mood. With the full blowing wind on the following two days, smoothly flowing organisation and contributions of our sponsors we finalised the festival exceeding expectations. We have already been thanking our sponsors who made this festival possible at every opportunity. And you, all the riders who have just learned kiteboarding or have been kiteboarding for a while and those who have even accepted kiteboard as a life style; without you it wouldn’t be possible to have such an atmosphere, such fun 4 days. We thank you all for coming, participating.

PROGRAMME

ATTENDANCE

Attendance fee is 130 YTL per person. Attendance is limited with 60 kiteboarders.

The attendance fee includes; 3 dasy full-board accommodation (lunch by the kiteboard beach), transfers between Akyaka and Kiteboard Beach, party on boat, Redbull Kitebeach Party.

GUESTS

Liquid Force rider Julie Simsar will be with us during the fest. For 4 days it is a great chance to watch her even to get some new tricks. She will also award the Liquid Force equipments to the winners of each branch.

ACCOMMODATION

You will stay in bungalows in the Gökova National Park which is just next to Yücelen Hotel. All bungalows have air condition, television, telephone and minibar and all face the sea. Some bungalows can accomodate 3 people.

Bungalows under the eucalyptus trees are a mere 20 metre awany from the sea.

ORGANISATION FIELD

Organisation Reception and meeting point is Ruzgar Cafe .

All races and Redbull Beach party will take place on Gokova Ruzgar's Kiteboard beach.

Transfers between AKyaka and Kitebeach will be organised by Akyaka Municipality . Gökova Rüzgar's safety boat will be in charge for urgent transfers and safety.

It will be possible to leave all gear on the kitebeach. There will be security on the beach all night long..

HOW TO GET THERE?

Dalaman Airport is 70 km. Get on Marmaris/Airport Havas Shutle Service (25 YTL per person), give us a call when you get off by Gokova junction. We will pick you up in 5 min. Private transfers up to 3 persons cost 85 YTL.

Bodrum Airport is 115 km. Rent a car is the best.

If you want to get there by bus, take Marmaris busses and give us a call when you get off by Gokova junction.

Event base (Ruzgar Cafe) is on the far right end of the public beach of Akyaka in front of Yucelen Hotel.
